Service Times
The Celebration Center at Church of the Servant comes alive on Sunday mornings with uniquely blended worship services at 9:15 and 10:45. Our Celebration services are identical in format and contain traditional and contemporary elements of worship. Typically Dr. Robert Gorrell, Senior Minister preaches in these two services and congregational singing ranges from praise and worship music to the great hymns of the Church through the ages. A wonderful choir sings in both of theses services, too. Attendance in the 9:15 service averages between 1,000 and 1,500. The service at 10:45 will range in attendance between 750 and 1,000.
If you're looking for a smaller, more traditional environment, consider the Chapel Community. The Chapel Community meets in the Chapel of the Cross at 8:15 a.m. This is a small service attended by 100 to 125 people and always includes Holy Communion. Those who attend enjoy being in a small congregation where everyone knows one another yet belong to a church that is very large and able to offer them a wide range of program options and other involvements.
Servant 923 is our newest worship service. This new service, while having a slightly different style with multimedia elements and band-led worship, is still very much an integral part of the life of Church of the Servant as a whole. We share the same mission, vision, and values, as we work to help Ordinary People become a part of God's Extraordinary Mission! This service includes a message by Dr. Matt Judkins and music led by John Gilstrap, our Director of Young Adult Ministries. We meet in the Chapel of the Cross in an environment that is casual but challenging and informal but intentional about helping people step deeper into their life of faith.
